Sharpshot

Synopsis

The Salire Police Force - noted as the best law enforcement in Hanev - is looking to swell its numbers, and Kalyn Alexia is more than eager to supplement it. The job is rewarding. The co-workers are friendly. Life is good. However, the citizens of Salire keep to themselves and blissfully ignore the health of their neighboring city, Ecude.

Insurgents strike at the heart of the Ecude Police Force until the protectors are obliterated, then crush those that confront them and pound the city into submission. The streets are vacant, homes and buildings destroyed, and lives are changed forever - or simply taken away. Through it all, Salire bustles on without a care in the world.

A time will come when action is inevitable. In the process, the face of their nation will change and the lives of those that inhabit it will never be the same.

Tagline: In heart, you work unrighteousness; On earth, you weigh out the violence of you hands.

Inspiration: Sharpshot began with a simple ambition: to create a story that took place in a world similar to the present. I wanted to do away with swords, bows and magic and bring technology to the forefront. In response to this idea, I began to examine what I found most interesting about current warefare and that turned to sharpshooting. After working with the idea for nearly two years, a sudden inspiration came in the form of following the characters for a longer duration before the main story and the idea took off from there. It changed the entire layout and brought the story to fruition.
