Name: Cataclysm

Inspiration: As work was proceeding on Phoenix, a friend of mine had published a book. I was kind of surprised but the result, a good 400+ pages, was a big inspiration for the form of Cataclysm. And so, I combined Ensemble and Phoenix into this work, titled after the series in which I held the two stories. As I already have Ensemble under Previous Works, the inspiration for Phoenix will be included. As the first book was titled after the linkshell my friend 'Minou' created back in the Final Fantasy XI days, Phoenix is titled after the guild my friend Iesha created in World of Warcraft.

Plotline: The plotline of Cataclysm follows along with Ensemble, as the two stories now connect.

Character Inspiration: As with Ensemble, all characters are based upon the handles of my FFXI friends. However, with part two, a handful of personally-created characters are introduced that now play a large role in the storyline.

Action Inspiration: Just like Ensemble, the majority of the action is based on magic. But, it remains different in the fact that there is more swordplay within. As well, there is more blood than Ensemble had and larger scale conflicts.
