Title: Alive

Tagline: So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness.

Inspiration: Seeing as the Living is a generational occurance, with the one portrayed in Ensemble being the fifth, a lot of backstory is enabled. In addition, the way Ensemble is begun lends itself to questions of how things came to be. This is where the idea for Alive came from. Even before that, when Alive was known more commonly as Minisodes II, the backstories of Renamir and Dalli were more detailed than the rest. The idea to explain their pasts led to the creation of Minisodes II.

Plotline: Alive is broken up into four pieces. The first - The Title Tale - focuses on the fourth generation of the Living. The second - Five Points to a Perfect Star - follows the backstories of Renamir and Dalli. The third - Cult of Personality - details the pasts of Dafyr and Rina. The final story - Drawing Circles - ties the ends of the previous three stories so that they can interweave with the beginning of Ensemble.

Action Inspiration: The Title Tale and Five Points focus mainly on military warfare. Cult of Personality and Drawing Circles do not have battles and instead focus on development.
